Troubled Chef John Nguyen’s Next Act Is a Pho Spot

A pho restaurant, Sai Gon Dep, serves chicken soup with the bird from beak to toe and will be opening in Murray Hill. Chef John Nguyen says that his goal was to do it exactly how they cook it in Vietnam, just modernized. The chicken head will be served in the pho with eyes and all, and an instruction guide on how to eat it. The rest of the menu will be simple featuring few rice dishes, appetizers, and a dessert. Sai Gon Dep will be opened from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
